AUDI IS PREPARING A MORE ACCESIBLE VERSION OF THE R8

The company has abandoned atmospheric V8 engines because they can not adapt to the new requirements for environmental protection

The first generation of the mid-range super car Audi R8 was available with only two atmospheric engines. The base version has a liter V8 4.2, which develops 420 or 430 hp, and the top variant relies on the 5.2-liter V10 (520-575 hp), which was developed for the Lamborghini Gallardo. The second generation was produced 2 years ago and is equipped with an upgraded V10, developing 540 or 610 hp. Now, Audi is preparing a new modification of the low-engine model.
